Position Title: Accountant - Payroll, Advanced Excel & QuickBooks Specialist
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant skilled in payroll processing, financial management using QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functionalities. The ideal candidate will manage payroll systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule.
Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and tax filings.
Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
QuickBooks Management:

Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within QuickBooks.
Generate and analyze financial statements and reports as needed.
Advanced Excel Applications:

Develop and manage complex Excel spreadsheets for financial analysis and payroll tracking.
Create formulas, pivot tables, and charts for data visualization and reporting.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on payroll laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Prepare and file statutory returns (e.g., payroll taxes, retirement contributions).
Financial Operations Support:

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Support audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum [X years] of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (certification preferred).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., macros, pivot tables, data analysis).
Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance.
