Accountant

Due to the business growth, we are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven accountant to join our remote accounting team.

- Please Note this is an Independent Contractor Role and will be paid up to $300 Bi-Weekly -

Tasks & Reposibilities:
Bookkeeping / Data Entry:
• Perform data entries as per instruction as well as accounting principles.

Controlling and costing
• Review system data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance to internal requirements; report issues upon identification.
• Review and audit expenditures to enhance internal cost control.

Compliance and Tax:
• Assist the North American accounting team to complete various compliance & tax assignments.

Other
• Main contact for inbound calls for the accounting department
• Undertake various ad-hoc assignments

Skills Required:
• Good English skills is critical and mandatory
• Good computer skills, especially MS Excel
• Experiences with ERP and data analysis tools highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and take a leading role in driving projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to excel under pressure.
• Good personal and communication skills, quick learner, good business attire
• Major Accounting Firm, overseas, or MNC experiences preferred
• Spanish proficiency will be a plus

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of accounting working experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
