We are looking for an experienced Web Design Manager who is both a skilled designer and an effective leader. You will play a dual role in managing projects and contributing to hands-on design work. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with Relume components in Figma, collaborating across departments, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Collaboration:

Work closely with the heads of content and development to ensure seamless integration of design, copy, and technical elements in every project.
Manage the web design pipeline to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Act as the design lead on multiple projects, creating exceptional website designs while mentoring team members on best practices.
Hands-On Web Design:

Use Relume components in Figma to design scalable, modular, and visually engaging websites.
Build prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring they align with client goals and UX/UI standards.
Create and maintain design libraries, ensuring consistency across all projects.
Project Management & Delivery:

Oversee the design process, ensuring efficient workflows and timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs.
Coordinate with content teams to align messaging and visuals for cohesive project delivery.
Troubleshoot bottlenecks and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Team Management & Mentorship:

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the design team.
Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring quality control.
Review work and offer constructive feedback to designers.
Lead regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and celebrate wins.
Qualifications:

Experience & Skills:

At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Relume components in Figma.
Proven track record of managing design projects and collaborating across departments.
Minimum 3 years of web design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing professional work.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and web accessibility standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Tools:

Proficient in Figma, including component creation and library management.
Experience with project management tools like Asana, Slack, and Notion.
Familiarity with content collaboration workflows and development handoff processes.
