Job Title: API Integration Developer

Job Description:
Digital Difference Makers (DDM) is seeking a skilled API Integration Developer to automate and streamline our reporting process with Cox Automotive. Currently, we manually pull reports, and we need an efficient solution to export and integrate this data into our reporting tools. This role requires experience with API integrations, and familiarity with OpenAPI specifications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a method to automate report extraction from Cox Automotive’s API.
- Export and integrate the pulled data seamlessly into our reporting systems.
- Create and document processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for our team.

Requirements:
Experience with API Integrations: Knowledge of API protocols, including OpenAPI/Swagger (preferred but not required).
Programming Skills: Proficiency in a backend language (Python preferred) to handle API requests and data parsing.
Data Management: Experience with exporting data into various formats (CSV, Excel, JSON) and integrating with reporting tools.
Attention to Detail: Must follow specified application instructions and submit a detailed plan.

Here’s our current manual process:
Step 1: Access the Cox Automotive leads interface, select the MTD date range, download the data as Excel, add a "calendar" column labeled "MTD" to all cells, and save as "Original Sheet."
Step 2: Repeat with the same month MTD from the previous year, add a "calendar" column labeled "MTD last year," and paste it into "Original Sheet."
Step 3: Lastly, pull the latest MTD data, label the "calendar" column as "Last MTD," and consolidate this data with the "Original Sheet."

2. An overview of your experience with APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and any relevant project examples.
