SAP Specialist

We are seeking an experienced System Admin \ SAP Specialist to perform critical database upgrade tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for copying the database from the old server to the new server, executing the SAP database upgrade from version 9.2 to version 10.0, and, upon successful completion, running the application upgrade and updating application settings.Key Responsibilities:

- Copying the SAP Business One database from the old server to the new server. (using sql queries \ poweshell scripts)

- Performing the SAP database upgrade.

- Running the application upgrade and updating application settings upon successful database upgrade.

-Updating DNS records after successful upgrade

-Testing and verifying successful completion

- Ensuring minimal customer downtime by performing the upgrade during Israel night time. 22:30-7:00 Israel time

- Sending completion emails to a predefined list after each upgrade.

Requirements:

- Proven experience with SAP Business One database upgrades.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Business One application and settings.

- Experience with powershell , Microsoft sql server , and windows server environment

- Ability to work during Israel night time to avoid customer downtime.

- Excellent communication skills to provide timely updates to the Upgrade to see actual infoliverables:

- Successful migration and upgrade of the SAP Business One database.

- Updated application settings and upgraded application.

- Completion emails sent to a predefined list of contacts.Additional Information:
