Youtube & Online Course Video Editor

Seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join my team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing YouTube and other social media videos, as well as upcoming online course videos to create engaging and professional content. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time work, as I have an ongoing need for video editing services. I am looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling through video and can bring our vision to life. Responsibilities: • Edit raw footage to create visually appealing and engaging videos for YouTube and online courses. • Trim and rearrange clips to ensure the logical flow of content. • Break down long-form Youtube content into short reels to use on Tik-Tok, Instagram and Youtube shorts. • Enhance videos with relevant effects, transitions, graphics, and animations to elevate the overall production value. • Incorporate background music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the audio experience. • Collaborate closely with the content creator to understand the desired vision and maintain consistent brand aesthetics. • Review and select the best takes, and make necessary adjustments to color grading and audio levels for optimal quality. • Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques to continually improve the quality of our videos. • Meet project deadlines. Requirements: • Proven work experience and strong portfolio as a Video Editor. • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. • Knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolution. • Experience in motion graphics and visual effects is desirable. • Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Proactive problem-solving and openness to feedback. • Knowledge of YouTube optimization and online course platforms is a plus. • Access to a powerful computer and reliable internet.
