Web Designer and Developer (Wordpress/Elementor)

We are an Australian digital marketing agency. We are seeking an experienced Web Designer and Developer (WordPress/Elementor website and Landing Pages) to work Full-Time on Philippines-friendly times.

You need strong website DESIGN SKILLS. While we have another designer in-house, we are also looking for someone with a good design eye who can contribute to the design side.

PLUS, you'll need strong skills in website admin (backup, copying, speed optimisation) and front-end dev HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT for this role.

You must also be a “can-do” technical problem solver, eager to help the team solve technical/coding problems.

You need good communication skills in English and be comfortable with regular video meetings and working with team members to resolve issues.

You will build Websites using WordPress/Elementor and Landing Pages for different clients:
* Website builds in Wordpress—You’ll design and build Wordpress websites, usually by modifying existing themes and using visual builders.
* Elementor - you'll build and configure templates for websites in Elementor.
* Landing page design and builds in GoHighLevel—building landing pages in visual landing page editors—including the ability to make design and UX improvements by adding custom HTML/CSS/Javascript to the builder.
* Create or “cut up” visual assets—You can create web designs yourself and/or have a designer create them in Illustrator or Photoshop.
* Javascript / GHL technical work - you’ll write small javascript “hacks” to enable better use of landing pages and the GoHighLevel marketing system. Over time, you’ll become our expert on the technical side of GoHighLevel implementation.
* Website updates (WordPress, WIX etc) - you will be working to update existing clients' websites. Most clients have WordPress sites, which may be built using different themes or builders (eg. DIVI). You’ll be working out how to update and fix existing websites or applying SEO fixes, so you’ll need strong analytical skills to understand how the existing sites have been built.
* Onsite technical SEO: You understand how to implement technical SEO fixes (not copywriting, just technical), and have a good knowledge of SEO technical requirements eg. schema
* You'll work closely with Australian account managers and be confident in taking briefs and communicating in English in Clickup and video calls.

You need to be able to work independently, as the team will require you to lead the technical side of the landing/web page development.
