Job Posting: Full-Time Video Editor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Video Editor with experience in Camtasia or similar video editing software to join our team. Your primary role will be to refine long-form video content (typically 90 minutes to three hours in length), ensuring a polished and professional final product. If you have a passion for creating high-quality videos and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Edit long-form video content by:
Removing unnecessary parts of introductions.
Eliminating filler words like "ums" and "ahs."
Ensuring smooth transitions and consistent quality throughout.
Provide final, professional-quality video files ready for publication.
Create social media clips from full-length videos using tools like Opus Pro, Canva, or other editing software to promote content across platforms.
Maintain video organization and file management for easy access and archiving.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Camtasia or similar video editing software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, error-free videos.
Familiarity with audio editing techniques to improve sound quality and consistency.
Knowledge of creating engaging social media video clips and understanding platform-specific requirements.
Experience with graphic design tools like Canva for overlay text, thumbnails, or promotional materials is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency with additional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Understanding of basic motion graphics creation.
Familiarity with tools for creating subtitles or captions.
Knowledge of video compression techniques for optimal delivery across platforms.
