Writer/Editor

Full time job working with a USA based startup company that is in the online info space.
You will work directly with the owner.
40 hours a week. Room for growth as company expands.

The most important requirement is that you LOVE to write, because you will need to be able to focus on writing for hours at a time.

You will be given access to tools that will help you in the writing process. Your schedule will be set for projects you will have to finish throughout the day.

Some responsibilities you may be given are:

-Editing and proofreading
-Writing engaging course lessons that keep people interested
-Ghostwriting sections of non-fiction step-by-step books
-Generating and editing blog posts with artificial intelligence
-Writing video scripts
-Writing SOPs for training purposes
-Bullet points for live presentations
-Persuasive writing
-Marketing copy
-Content writing

Preferred experience:
-Editing experience
-SEO experience a plus but not required
-Understanding of marketing copy and messaging
-A high level of English grammar and writing

Personal skills:
-Ability to focus on work and meet deadlines
-Ability to follow a schedule and produce what is required
-Able to work independently
-Able to inspire and persuade with your writing
-Good communication skills

After the original training we will meet periodically but you will mostly work on your own, so being a self-starter is a must.
