The Multimedia Production Specialist is a key support position on the marketing team for our company, Gain the Edge, a SALES organization, dedicated to teaching, training and providing leaders with “Done for You” Sales Teams so they can focus more on what they love and have a bigger impact with their knowledge and message.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of video production experience, 3+ years of graphic design and motion graphic experience, and 3+ years of audio/video editing experience (editing short online videos, social share videos, and educational content for online channels like YouTube / Vimeo / blogs preferred).
This position requires working closely with our founder/CEOs, Jim & Cyndi Padilla, podcast guests and the marketing team to establish multimedia project timelines and anticipated completion dates on time and on budget.
The Multimedia Production Assistant manages the vision, planning and production for all technical and A/V projects for the company, including setting up a workflow for the recording, editing and delivery of podcasts to YouTube, iTunes, Stitcher and more; managing audio or video editing for landing pages and blog content, and supporting the optimization of all online content for search.

Show competency in videography principles from scripting through final editing and show proficiency with branding guidelines using Adobe CS and video motion software such as Premier Pro, Motion, and/or After Effects, Premiere and Final Cut Pro in an * Apple Mac environment.
Pre-visualize and/or storyboard shot ideas based on scripts or project outlines.
Perform non-linear editing using Final Cut or Adobe Premiere software and designs after-effects as needed including motion graphics, layout, and animation
Be able to select and use music to match the tone & style of the episode/ story
Create various types of audio/video to tell stories across multiple platforms
Be able to mix different media into a complete experience (video, graphics, music).
Experience in typography, color, composition, compositing, keyframing, and title design.
Be detail-oriented and possess a sophisticated editing style
Knowledge of social media and how to engage audiences on digital platforms in the public space is essential to this role
Ability to work with a team directly in edit sessions to assess needs and meet project requirements.
Properly maintain a digital archive
Possess strong attention to detail and time management skills, and be an organized team player
Adept at listening to IG live, calls/meetings and being able to turn and splinter the available information into different content.
Creative and consistent with the look and feel of the company’s branding guidelines.
Have experience working in a fast-paced environment on weekly deadlines
Demonstrate a solid typing WPM (ideally 45 wpm+)
Provide their own video and audio equipment
Job responsibilities include
Advise and coach the team on lighting, audio and video requirements to ensure quality footage for use in post-production
Play a highly collaborative creative role in structuring new ideas and managing production projects to completion
Edit online content for YouTube and Gain the Edge websites, including podcast episodes, storytelling videos, and how-to videos
Create and produce marketing videos and PR videos, as needed
Sourcing photos, stock video and audio as needed for projects
Create all multimedia content for social (audio / video / design)
Edit and upload footage and maintain video logs and media storage
Create motion graphics for video
Design online/social graphics for various projects
