JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Marketing Manager & Integrator for one of our clients, an online wine seller in San Diego, California

This is a direct-hire, full-time role.

This is a new role that will support the expansion of our client's sales, marketing, and customer service. You will report directly to the owner and founder. You are a problem-solver and will play a role as a general manager and will need to wear a variety of hats.

This person must have 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more PH digital marketing assistants. This person should live and breathe digital marketing and have substantial experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage outbound email marketing, ensure quality, on-brand content, and quality copywriting
• Overall brand management across platforms, websites, and social media
• Research solutions for new tools, apps, and hacks
• Help the company be more efficient and improve ROI with ad spend
• Be accountable for online community management across several platforms and different websites
• Identify, nurture and Grow brand partnerships
• Document all systems and processes (SOPs) to implement and manage change
• Team management: manage our team of developers, graphic designers, and marketing team
• Bonus: If you have implemented EOS in the last two years

Customer Experience
• You’ll constantly be asking yourself, “how can this be better for our customers?”
• You’ll make recommendations for ways to improve the customer experience, and you’ll implement many of them.
• You’ll solve issues that arise for customers as needed.
• You’ll pick up the phone and talk to customers. You’ll listen to them and let them know you care. You’ll laugh with them. You’ll cry with them. They will love you, and you them.
• You’ll respond to customers who comment about us on social media.
• You’ll keep the rest of the team informed about the general mood and feedback from customers.
Digital Marketing & Technical Know-How
• Copywriting experience required
• Shopify & Klaviyo eCommerce experience required
• Up to date on best practices and tools in digital marketing and eCommerce
• Manage and engage marketing contractors
• Know how to conduct A/B testing
• Review Copy and Content before it is distributed
• We currently use the following DM assets, and you will need to be familiar with them all: Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, FB Ads, Press Releases, Shopify Apps store, GMB, YT, Linkedin, IG, Twitter, Mailchimp, Google Sheets/Drive, Attentive, Klaviyo, Bing, Google Search Console
• Experience with Domain reputation management, DMARC, MX records, DNS, and .txt records

Customer Retention
• You must have experience with customer retention strategies.
• You will analyze our retention data, data studio, and implement tests for improving retention. Report to the team on success,
Partnerships & Media Buying
• Manage Ambassador & Affiliate program (landing pages)
• You’ll identify and approach potential marketing partners
• You’ll create the strategies and execute our paid media campaigns.
• You’ll work with our creative team to design effective ads.
• You’ll use paid advertising to help us not only grow the business but also to understand our core customers better.


Email
Marketing
• You’ll implement strategies to grow our email and SMS list.
• Experience with educational marketing
• You’ll help plan, design, and schedule our email promotions and newsletters.
• You’ll coordinate with the designers and copywriters to craft each promo email.
• Optimize email campaigns.
• Review and publish any and all email campaigns.
Social Media
• You’ll build our online social media presence and community, specifically grow FB groups and IG followers.
• You’ll create, edit, and publish daily social content.
• You’ll curate user content, engage with followers, respond to comments, and Upgrade to see actual infoand interaction.
• You’ll manage all reporting and analytics for each of our social channels.
• You’ll work closely with graphic designer and marketing assistant to create “WOW!” content.

Website
• A/B testing on the website.
• You’ll help improve our website conversion rates.
• You’ll be obsessed with data! You’ll collect our key growth metrics and make decisions from those.
• You’ll review our entire funnel (from awareness to retention to referral) for areas to improve.


Affiliate Marketing
• You’ll cultivate affiliate partnerships.
• You’ll build our affiliate landing pages.
• You’ll support our affiliates with any assets/resources they need to successfully promote us.
Events
• You’ll turn events into content for all our platforms.
• You’ll drive video development at events.
