JOB OVERVIEW

Note: the salary can be increased based upon evidence of success within the position for the right candidate. We are looking for a virtual marketing specialist to increase the revenue of our small business by establishing the business and our range of products with worldwide virtual event resellers, and independently leading outreach campaigns. You will be responsible for creating promotional initiatives and online marketing campaigns, maintaining the positive representation of Alex Ranahan Virtual Events Entertainment, and implementing improvements to current marketing channels, systems, and touchpoints. Working with Alex Ranahan, you will assist in freeing him up from the operational marketing work in the business in order for him to effectively manage the company and scale it worldwide. The position is full-time (40 hours a week) working anytime between 9am - 10pm UK time (British Summer Time is 7 hours behind Manilla time) Monday - Saturday that suits the candidate, and allows them to communicate easier with Alex and more effectively with contacts across multiple time zones (mainly Eastern Standard Time and Pacific Time with USA and Canada). Has experience in successful virtual marketing and is able to meet the outcomes outlined with success. Fairly strong internet and computer power – Able to download and upload files, make edits, store working data, and execute basic computer-driven and internet tasks without technical hindrance or unreliability. Able to meet over Zoom with webcam on and make proficient use of time without being hindered by computer or internet speeds. Able to save files for future use or revisions. Reliable – Able to commit to and stick to preferred amount of weekly hours and time of working and communication in UK time, communicates when will be absent from working with a week’s notice, maintains high standards, quality, and accuracy of work without needing micromanagement or being told specifically what to do with every assignment or task. Gives advance notice of upcoming rolling blackouts if possible/known. Must follow through with the brief after-action-review email daily. Able to work independently – The relationship with the company will be virtual as the company itself is a virtual entertainment business and involves working with people from different countries and in different time zones.
