3D Video Animator and Editor for Short Videos

We’re seeking a skilled video animator/editor to create dynamic, high-quality videos similar to those on the YouTube channels 'Simplihowww' and 'Zack D. Films'.

You'll be provided with scripts, voice-over clips, and reference videos to craft visually appealing videos using graphics, animations, and engaging storytelling techniques.

Knowledge of major social media video platforms and what makes for engaging content is also required. The right person must also have some basic research skills needed to create content that is relevant, fresh and engaging.

The successful applicant will work with various members of the team in different parts of the world. It is important that the candidate can speak, read and write English. The successful applicant will be required to attend the daily video call with all members of the team from different parts of the world.



RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and produce all types of videos, including but not limited to 3D animation shorts, that are on point and on time for social media, marketing, and sales campaigns, and corporate communications
- Establish a clear understanding of the script, storyline, and the purpose of the video's creation and translate it well through visual storytelling
- Design thumbnails whenever necessary
- Maintain organization; active filing/archiving system of video files, and updating these whenever needed
- Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and innovate design
- Get access to trends, hashtags, and link samples off of viral content from different platforms as a guide to the creation of creatives
- Contribute to the planning of photo and video shoots for on-point creatives via a Technical Shot Guide based on social media research and engagement stats as well as study and prepare these Technical Shot Guides based on the approved script and contribution to continuity


REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in animation and video editing or in any relevant field with a complete portfolio of video projects
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, Da Vinci, Avid Media Composer, or Final Cut Pro, alongside knowledge of all Google tools and any other apps needed for the 3D animation. PSD and vector skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication in English (both oral and written)
- Great cognitive skills and capable of following instructions and copy, keeping in mind the project’s scope, implementation, requirements and platform where the material will be deployed
- A team player and can work with cross-functional and remote teams from different countries
- Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to produce top-notch content
- Takes Responsibility - used to criticism and can take revisions well
- Critical thinking; ability to work independently on an assignment
- Passion-driven and has great visual storytelling skills
- Possesses nuance to make designs from scratch with an understanding of the latest design trends
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Can be a leader as efficiently as a follower

ABOUT THE POSITION
- This full-time job demands a minimum of 40 hours of work a week
- Salary is remitted monthly straight to your bank account
- Starting salary is set at USD$650 for the first month (probation period) and will be adjusted to USD$750 if the successful applicant passes the probation period
