3D Groundworks Setting Out Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a full-time employee to join our team, they will be using software to create 3D models of the groundwork packages on construction sites. A setting out engineer to work from home building 3d model using Agtek software.

They may have an engineering, design, architect, or quantity surveying background but they will have an excellent knowledge of CAD, understand levels and elevations, understand construction drawings, construction make ups and be able to read construction drawings. Their role will be to interpret CAD files and construction drawings, import them into software and create existing and design/proposed surfaces with levels. They will also then be using linework to measure surface areas, materials, do take-offs and exporting that information to be used to build bills of quantities/buyer lists. The project types are a mix of residential/housing schemes, highways works and commercial units.

The Candidate:

Engineer/architect/estimator/Quantity surveyor background
Must be qualified
Software we use is Agtek (full training will be provided, any experience is an advantage)
Construction background essential but groundworks/civil engineering experience advantageous
Excellent knowledge/understanding of CAD
Excellent knowledge/understanding of levels/elevations
3D modelling experience (Modeling Ground Works, Backfill)

The Incentives:

40+ hours per week – Working Hours Monday – Friday 9am-5pm Philippine Local Time.
9-hour shifts with a 30-minute paid break.
We offer 15 days PTO with 13th month pay.
Rate $10 per hour

Successful candidate will be required to submit/demonstrate a previous model to show their understand of CAD, 3D models and elevations.
