Textile Artist

We are seeking a skilled Textile Artist with a passion for nature and wildlife, particularly with expertise in creating realistic tiger designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background, exceptional drawing skills, and proficiency in digital design software, including Adobe Photoshop. This role involves developing original textile designs that will be used in various applications such as apparel, home décor, and accessories.

Responsibilities:

Create original textile designs focusing on nature and animal motifs, with a special emphasis on realistic tiger illustrations.

Utilize digital tools and software, including Adobe Photoshop, to translate hand-drawn sketches into polished digital designs suitable for textile production.

Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and themes for seasonal collections.

Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in textile technology and design techniques.

Participate in revisions based on feedback from design leads and clients to ensure final products meet quality standards and client expectations.

Ensure all designs are produced within project timelines and comply with environmental and sustainability standards set by the company.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Textile Artist or similar role with a portfolio showcasing expertise in nature and animal designs.

Exceptional ability in drawing, with a strong emphasis on accurately depicting tigers and other wildlife.

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design or textile design software.

Excellent color sense and understanding of fabric textures.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred.

Must have portfolio which reflects the types of nature designs and your unique artistic style.
