Data Scientist for E-Commerce Analytics

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in e-commerce analytics and a passion for translating data into actionable growth strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing our extensive Shopify data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations that will directly impact our business strategy and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced analytics models to analyze diverse data sets using statistical and machine learning techniques.

Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights to optimize our marketing campaigns and product offerings.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics from our Shopify platform, identifying patterns and predicting future trends.

Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.

Define and track key business metrics; deliver insights & recommendations to enhance operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and recommend technology and systems to support business needs.

Present complex findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ideally with experience in e-commerce or retail analytics.

Strong proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with Shopify’s analytics tools or similar e-commerce platforms.

Experience in applying machine learning techniques and advanced analytics to real-world problems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
