Job Overview:
We are an eCommerce store specialising in fashion, seeking a highly creative and experienced Social Media Manager. This role requires someone who lives and breathes social media, stays ahead of trends, and drives audience engagement. You will manage all aspects of our organic social media presence, including running monthly Instagram competitions, managing communications, and crafting strategies that align with our marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop a comprehensive social media calendar that aligns with marketing activities, sales, promotions, cultural Upgrade to see actual infonts, and seasonal events to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Schedule content across Instagram and Facebook using social media management tools, with visually appealing aesthetic

Copywriting:
• Write engaging copy tailored to our target demographic while reflecting our brand's tone and style.
• Source copy information from the website, customer reviews, FAQs, brand kit, founder story and so on.

Content Creation:
• Source & select compelling images, videos, carousels from our image library
• Create reels from raw video library, develop visually appealing and engaging story imagery and create engaging promotional and competition materials

Weekly Deliverables:
Plan and execute:
• Up to 4 posts per week (including 1 reel).
• Up to 2 stories per day.
• 1 monthly Instagram competition (manage entries and draw winners).
• At least 1 Q&A-style story per month to engage directly with the audience.

Community Engagement & Growth:
• Manage all direct messages and comments on social media channels with timely responses.
• Foster a strong online community through proactive interaction and creative initiatives.
• Incorporate audience feedback into content strategies to maintain engagement.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:
• Track and analyse social media performance metrics using Google Analytics and platform insights.
• Provide regular reports with actionable insights to the marketing manager for continuous improvements

Trend Monitoring & Competitor Analysis:
• Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, competitor activities, and emerging platforms.
• Monitor industry trends in fashion and shopping behaviours to refine strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in social media management, especially in eCommerce, fashion, or accessories. Proven experience working with an eCommerce or fashion brand is required.
• Exceptional copywriting skills with a knack for storytelling that engages audiences.
• Strong design skills and experience using tools like Canva for graphic design and social media content creation.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Adobe Express to create engaging and visually appealing content.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo customer database management.
• Passionate about social media with a deep understanding of platform trends, algorithms, and audience engagement strategies.
• A creative mindset with a passion for branding and design trends.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the marketing team.
• Knowledge of SEO principles for optimising social media content is a plus.
• Efficiency & Speed: As a startup, we need someone who is quick, reliable, and can manage multiple tasks at once without compromising quality.
