We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Company Accountant to join our finance team. The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting practices and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
--Maintain and update accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
--Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
Financial Reporting:
--Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
--Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
--Support the budgeting process by preparing financial projections and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures.
--Provide insights and recommendations for financial planning and strategy.
Compliance and Regulation:
--Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
--Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
Tax Preparation:
--Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
--Stay updated on tax regulations and assist with tax planning and strategy.
Payroll and Expense Management:
--Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements.
--Oversee the proper recording of payroll transactions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis:
--Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
--Provide financial analysis and support to aid decision-making processes.
Requirements:
--Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
--A certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.
--Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
--Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
--Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
--Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
--Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
--Strong organizational and time-management skills.
--Residing in the Rizal Province, Marikina, and nearby cities is a plus.
--Willing to report at our Marikina City Office
