BEFORE YOU APPLY:
We’re building a serious creative team and want to make sure it's a great fit on both sides. Please take a minute to read the full job post—it’ll save both of us time and help make sure we’re aligned from day one.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a tight, growing content agency that helps service-based businesses (loan officers, real estate pros, home service experts, coaches, etc.) create high-quality, story-driven video content for Instagram and YouTube.
We film real people in real environments—no stock footage, no gimmicks—and we’re looking for editors who can turn that into content that’s cinematic, clean, and consistent. You’ll be part of a creative team, not just a freelancer cutting clips on an island.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube videos using raw, original footage
Shape talking-head and “on-the-go” clips into compelling short-form edits
Cut in b-roll for pacing, clarity, and story
Color correct and audio balance for a polished, cinematic finish
Add music and light sound design that supports tone (not over-the-top or generic)
Occasionally build light motion graphics or sketch-style educational callouts (bonus)
Use tasteful effects: speed ramping, RSMB, and smooth transitions when appropriate
Deliver files via Dropbox
Communicate through our team system for feedback (
Check in daily with updates, questions, or deliverables
BONUS POINTS IF YOU:
Have edited event coverage (cutting the best
Know how to make real estate listing Reels that are clean, high energy, and not templated
Have experience editing service-business brands like loan officers or home pros
Already use RSMB, speed ramping, or other advanced movement techniques
Genuinely care about story, pace, and style—not just finishing the job
TOOLS WE SUPPORT:
Adobe Premiere Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
(Any of these are welcome—as long as the quality is pro-level.)
HOW PAY WORKS
This is a contract-based role paid per project (per reel, per YouTube video, etc.).
We’re building a long-term team, and we care more about consistency, taste, and communication than hours clocked.
TO APPLY
Send us:
A quick intro – Who are you? Where are you based?
3–5 samples of your best editing work (Reels, YouTube edits, etc.)
What editing software you use
How you prefer to stay organized and communicate with a team
Bonus: One thing you wish more editors did better when working on Reels or YouTube
This is not just another editing gig.
If you care about your craft, want to collaborate with other creatives, and can take direction without losing your personality—this is for you.
