Accounting & Bookkeeping Manager For Singapore Based SME

Looking for an Accounting & Bookkeeping Manager with experience working with Singapore based firms.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Bookkeeping Manager with a robust understanding of Singapore's accounting and tax laws to join our team remotely. This role requires handling a wide range of financial activities to ensure compliance, accuracy, and financial health for our agency.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Singapore GAAP.
- Manage full cycle accounting including journal entries, monthly bookkeeping, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with Singapore's IRAS regulations.
- Handle GST (Goods and Services Tax) returns and ensure compliance.
- Maintain and clean up the set of accounts periodically to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Liaise with auditors for annual financial audits.
- Oversee payroll, employee reimbursements, and benefits contributions.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management for strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to minimize risk.

Minimum Qualifications

- CPA or equivalent internationally recognised accounting qualification.
- At least 4 years in accounting and bookkeeping, with a minimum of 2 years working with a Singapore-based entity.
- Proficient in QuickBooks; knowledge of additional financial software considered a plus.
- In-depth understanding of Singapore tax laws and GAAP.
