JOB OVERVIEW

Overview: Our client is a locally owned and operated company based in Western Australia, specializing in providing Repair & Maintenance, Parts, and Equipment Hire Solutions for the Mining Explosives Industries. They are seeking a proactive Workshop Planner & Scheduler to play a crucial role in optimizing our workshop operations. You'll coordinate work for in-house mechanics and outsourced services while ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities:

· Plan and schedule maintenance and workshop jobs.

· Regularly review and prioritize tasks to meet service needs.

· Maintain and update service schedules and programs.

· Reallocate resources as needed to meet service benchmarks.

· Procure spare parts and services in advance.

· Manage inventory with the Workshop Supervisor.

· Liaise with suppliers and contractors for timely supply of goods and services.

· Communicate with workshop personnel regarding scheduling.

· Prepare monthly maintenance reports.

· Manage the Workshop Management System for job scheduling.

Qualifications:

· Mechanical trade background preferred.

· A minimum of 3 years proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.

· Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMS).

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent communication and IT proficiency.
