Developer for Wordpress (PHP, SQL, Jquery)

We're seeking a great developer with strong WordPress expertise to build custom tools and functionality for our WordPress-based projects.

The ideal candidate is someone who has deep knowledge of WordPress architecture and experience creating custom solutions that extend WordPress capabilities.

At Elevations, we’re building amazing websites and awesome SaaS Products.


Your tasks would include:
- Develop custom functionality that does not come out of the box with wordpress or addons
- Develop Query Loops and filtering queries
- Create User Interfaces that interact with the Backend through Ajax
- Build on top of existing tools and plugins to create awesome SaaS Products


Skill Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, PHP, and SQL
- Proficiency in JavaScript including Jquery and Ajax
- Experience with custom post types, custom fields and taxonomies (ACF)
- Knowledge of Wordpress Hooks and filters
- Knowledge of REST API implementation and consumption
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with headless WordPress development is a Plus
- Experience in a Wordpress Page Builder (like Bricks Builder) is a Plus
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of WordPress architecture and security best practices


- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js) is a significant Plus
- Experience with Node.js is a significant Plus
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS is a Plus
