Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented assistant to support a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with her daily activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the PNP's practice, and assisting with patient care as needed. The role requires experience in administrative support within a healthcare setting, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Monitor and check the platforms (electronic health records, patient management systems, etc.) to ensure they are up to date and functioning properly.
Administrative Support: Perform daily administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence.
Phone Support: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls as needed.
Appointment Coordination: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with patients.
Patient Support: Assist with patient communication, including reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-up care.
Document Management: Assist with maintaining accurate patient documentation, including ensuring charts are complete and updated.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and patients, as well as other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare or psychiatric setting.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with using electronic health records (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office, and other healthcare management platforms.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally.
Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Working Hours:
Available to work during Central Time Zone (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM), with flexibility in scheduling as needed.
Hours may vary depending on the PNP’s schedule.
