SEO / Content Marketing Specialist For Home Service Contractors

We are a web marketing agency specializing in helping home service contractors grow their online presence and generate leads. We’re looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving organic growth for home service contractors (e.g., plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, etc.) and be skilled in the tools and strategies that power effective SEO campaigns.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using aHrefs to identify high-impact opportunities for home service contractors.
- Optimize WordPress websites using RankMath to improve on-page SEO, including meta tags, schema markup, and site structure.
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content using AI tools to streamline content writing while maintaining quality and relevance.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, including rankings, traffic, and lead generation metrics.
- Collaborate with our team to align SEO strategies with broader web marketing goals.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of SEO experience specifically working with home service contractors.
- Proficiency with aHrefs for keyword research, backlink analysis, and site audits.
- Hands-on experience with RankMath (preferred) or Yoast on WordPress platforms.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, or similar) for content creation and optimization.
- Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, including basic technical SEO (site speed, mobile optimization, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on projects.
