JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support a financial institution that provides funding options for small business owners. This role focuses on cold email marketing, lead generation, newsletter creation, social media management, and customer engagement strategies. If you have expertise in email marketing, SMS campaigns, and lead generation, with a strong ability to optimize engagement tactics, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute cold email marketing and retention strategies to engage leads and customers.
Create automated email and SMS campaigns to deliver promotional messages and drive conversions.
Scrape the internet for bulk data to generate high-volume cold email lists.
Manage Salesforce reports and optimize CRM segmentation for targeted outreach.
Oversee monthly newsletter creation and content distribution.
Track marketing KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and recommend improvements.
Utilize Zapier for AI and social media automation to improve workflow efficiency.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and internal teams to enhance marketing tools and strategies.
Provide deliverability support for email campaigns to maximize inbox placement.
Maintain and update social media accounts with content (preferred but not required).
Assist with paid ad management to support lead generation and engagement.
Handle lead entry and enrichment to improve the quality of outreach efforts.

Tools You’ll Use:

CRM & Email Marketing: Salesforce, email campaign tools (nice-to-have)
Automation & AI: Zapier, AI tools (beyond ChatGPT) (must-have)
Lead Generation & Data Scraping: Web scraping tools for bulk data collection (nice-to-have)
Social Media & Ads Management: Social media automation, paid ad platforms (nice-to-have)

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in marketing channels, including SMS, email, paid ads, and lead generation.
Strong knowledge of cold email outreach and bulk email strategies.
Proven ability to work independently, meet goals, and drive engagement.
Hands-on experience with Zapier, AI tools beyond ChatGPT, and automation workflows.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for internal and client-facing interactions.
Experience with data scraping and lead generation tactics.
A degree in marketing is preferred.

Working hours: 9 AM – 6 PM or 10 AM – 7 PM Eastern Time
