VSL Video Editor for eCommerce Product Ads

About the Role:
I’m looking for an experienced video editor who can create short-form VSL-style ads for physical products I run on Meta (Facebook & Instagram). The ideal candidate understands the structure of direct response video ads and knows how to edit for conversions—not just aesthetics.

You should be able to:

- Edit engaging VSLs that grab attention in the first 3 seconds

- Use b-roll, stock footage, captions, transitions, and product clips effectively

- Follow a proven VSL structure (hook ? problem ? solution ? call to action)

- Deliver in formats optimized for Meta (vertical, square, etc.)

Bonus if you:

-Have experience editing ads for eCommerce products

-Are familiar with UGC-style content

-Understand ad metrics (watch time, CTR, etc.) and how to improve creative performance

What I’ll Provide:

-Script or framework

-Raw footage (UGC or product b-roll)

-Direction on tone, target audience, and style references
