Youtube Virtual Assistant

We’re seeking an experienced YouTube Virtual Assistant to handle video publishing, shorts creation, thumbnail design, and channel optimization for our outdoor décor channel featuring fountains, planters, and garden elements. The ideal candidate can work independently and will have flexibility to set their own hours, as long as all tasks are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Upload 1 long-form video per month

Create and upload 5 engaging YouTube Shorts per month from our long-form video

Convert horizontal video into vertical 9:16 format for Shorts

Add basic text overlays, visual enhancements, and cut-to-action formatting

Write keyword rich titles, descriptions, and hashtags

Add professional timestamps/chapters to long-form content for improved viewer experience

Thumbnail Creation

Create 5 clean, clickable thumbnails monthly

Design thumbnails optimized for mobile and desktop

Maintain consistent visual branding across all videos

Channel Optimization

Strategically organize and optimize the channel homepage

Create and manage topic-focused playlists

Write keyword-rich descriptions and optimize the “About” section

Apply best practices for channel layout, structure, and end screen configuration

Link related Shorts and long-form videos using cards and cross-promotion strategies

Tools & Experience Needed:

Video editing software (e.g. CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Canva Video, or similar)

Thumbnail design tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, or other graphic editors)

Familiarity with YouTube Studio, Shorts publishing, and channel layout features

Working knowledge of YouTube SEO and tools like TubeBuddy or VidIQ

Reliable internet connection (for uploading and downloading video files)

3+ years of relevant YouTube experience

Hours & Compensation:

Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per month

Hourly rate: $8-10 USD

Flexible schedule: Work at your own pace as long as deadlines are met
