Shopify Front-End Developer / Section Builder

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled front-end developer to create custom Shopify sections and blocks that function seamlessly across all themes. This is a key position for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges while delivering high-quality e-commerce experiences.

Required Skills & Experience
Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Shopify's Liquid templating language
Understanding of responsive design principles

Additional Requirements:
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
High availability and reliable time commitment
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to debug and fix minor issues independently
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with additional programming languages
Knowledge of Shopify theme architecture and best practices
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Experience with Shopify App development

Responsibilities
Design and develop custom Shopify sections/blocks that work consistently across all themes
Implement responsive, accessible, and performant front-end solutions
Debug and fix issues
Communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and solutions
Ensure code quality and cross-browser/device compatibility

Work Environment
We provide AI-powered code editors (For example Cursor, Windsurf) and tools to boost productivity
Successful candidates will need to troubleshoot and refine AI-generated code

Remote position with flexibility, but requiring consistent availability
