Day Shift Front-End Developer

Are you a front-end developer with a passion for creating high-performing, user-friendly WordPress websites? We’re looking for a mid-to-senior-level developer to join our remote team and help us build, optimize, and maintain WordPress sites that not only look great but also perform exceptionally well in search rankings.

What You'll Be Doing
• Designing and developing new pages by creating wireframes, implementing front-end designs, and optimizing layouts for SEO and UX.
• Implementing on-page SEO elements, including schema markup, meta tags, canonical tags, and structured data.
• Enhancing website performance by improving load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Collaborating with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into site architecture and content.
• Performing website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Managing technical components like sitemaps, robots.txt files, and other tools to improve site visibility.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in WordPress front-end development including theme and plugin customization.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with design tools like Figma and translating designs into functional web pages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.


Nice to Have
• Familiarity with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other WordPress page builders.
• Experience with Google Search Console and analytics tools.
• Basic knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
