Data Analyst (Operations)

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Operations team. This role will focus on collecting and cleaning large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and creating insightful reports and data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, reporting, and automation, with a solid proficiency in Excel and statistical modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Cleaning: Collect and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive operational decisions and improvements.

Report Generation: Create detailed reports and visually engaging data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Data Accuracy Maintenance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within reporting systems, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed.

Process Automation: Develop and implement automation for data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency.

Excel Data Manipulation: Utilize advanced Excel functions for data manipulation and analysis.

Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers across departments to ensure data-driven decisions. Communicate findings and insights clearly through both written and verbal reports.

Proactive Approach: Maintain a proactive attitude in identifying and solving data-related challenges, continuously improving reporting and analytics processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, data analysis tools).

Knowledge of statistical modeling and experience applying it to real-world datasets.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.

Must be able to work U.S. hours.

Must have a functional computer, camera, and headset for remote communication.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data automation tools or software (e.g., Alteryx, Python scripts).

Prior experience in operations or business analytics.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
