We need an experienced WordPress Developer to manage and optimize our two websites. You’ll handle development, performance tuning, security, and e-commerce integration.
This role will begin with a heavier workload to address current issues and improvements, then shift to lighter, ongoing involvement. We’re looking for someone who can provide consistent support, be available as needed, and handle regular maintenance and updates.
Responsibilities:
Customize themes, develop plugins, and write PHP code
Improve site speed, caching, and performance
Manage security updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Optimize e-commerce functions and user experience
Implement SEO best practices and structured data
Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and analytics tools
Oversee hosting, backups, and server configurations
Requirements:
5+ years of WordPress development experience
Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Experience with custom themes, plugins, and SEO
Familiar with e-commerce platforms (a plus)
Comfortable with version control, backups, and staging environments
