Video Editor - Shopify Ecommerce

Hey there! We’re Neurodrops, a Shopify Ecommerce brand.

We’re looking for a hungry, performance driven editor to join our team. Your mission? You’ll be working closely with our current creative strategist to create the best creatives possible to scale our brand.

P.S. Being performance driven means you have the opportunity to make much more than a simple salary.

IMPORTANT NOTE

I want to preface, we are looking for editors with experience specifically with Shopify brands, if you do NOT have any experience AND unable to provide examples of previous work, then this role is not for you… but if you do, check below ??

Our Company:

Neurodrops is a brand in the health & wellness niche, selling supplements that help with neurological symptoms like brain fog, focus, low energy, etc. We can give a much better insight down the line. Currently, we have too many ideas for creatives and not enough hands creating them, hence why we need a new, long-term editor that we can have on our team.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an editor who is HUNGRY. I don’t say this as a buzzword, but I want someone who is not only willing to help me grow this brand, but strive to grow with it. I want to give you the opportunity to make more than an hourly wage or pay-per-video style of pay, there will be heavy bonuses for strong performance. If you simply want to do the bare minimum and get minimum pay, this is not the company for you.

- Must be fluent with editing in either Capcut or Premiere Pro
- Must be fluent with AI tools like Elevenlabs & Midjourney to create AI style content
- Must be fluent with editing UGC and VSL style content

Your Responsibility as An Editor?

Create high-quality creatives on a consistent basis. 2-3 videos per day, 3 variations of each creative.
Be able to provide revisions for creatives that require additional editing or changes prior to being uploaded in our ad accounts.

As an editor for our team, you'll receive bonuses based on performance. Typically $300 per winning video. We will ensure you know our standard for a winning video to be eligible for each bonus, and these stack up fast if you’re performing well.

Stage 1: Create a Loom Video introducing yourself and your experience as an editor, specifically with Shopify Ecommerce. After your initial introduction, please answer the questions below.

Stage 2: Editing Assessment
This assessment will contain 2 scripts, and you will be required to create 2 videos.

AI/Midjourney Script:
This will be to see your skills with prompting on Midjourney and generating images that are accurate to our script, and Elevenlabs to create a strong voice-over.

UGC Script:
This will be to see your skills with using our existing B-roll from creators, alongside their matching B-roll to create an effective UGC style video.

(This is a VERY IMPORTANT step. Do not be lazy with these videos as they will be the key determining factor on who we dUpgrade to see actual info to join our team. Think of this assessment as an investment to a long-term position at a company you’ll actually enjoy working for.)

Stage 3: Final interview with our CEO to finalize a possible offer.
