ASN/Routing and Transportation Specialist
Overview:
The ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice)/Routing and Transportation Specialist is responsible for coordinating shipment routing, managing ASNs, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role involves working closely with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to optimize transportation operations and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and transmit ASNs to customers, ensuring accurate shipment details and compliance with customer requirements.
Coordinate shipment routing with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Schedule pickups and deliveries while optimizing transportation costs and timelines.
Monitor shipment status and resolve any delivery discrepancies or delays.
Maintain accurate records of shipment documentation, including bills of lading and routing guides.
Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Ensure compliance with customer routing guides, shipping instructions, and company policies.
Track and report on key transportation metrics and performance indicators.
Assist with freight claims and invoice reconciliation as needed.
