Social Media Video Editor

• We provide social media video content to Australian Service Based Businesses, Coaches and Professionals.
• Our focus (and soon to be your focus) is to create effective video content that tells an story and educates a market towards the service in which they offer.

We are looking for a talented, dedicated and passionate Social Media Video Editor, who can think outside of the box, and loves to tell creative stroies with video edits as well as being challenged and work inside a team of other video editors...

This role will predominantly be focused on short form videos, specifically for instagram reels. Videos are typically shared amoungst Youtube Shorts, Facebook Reels, Tiktok and Linkedin, Instagram reels is where we have 80% of our attention.

Responsibilities:
- Create highly engaging videos that tell a story (eg, text overlays, jumpcuts, sound effects/raisers).
- Footage management, including colour grading, optimisation, sounds adjustments.
- Research and find options for videos, including references to famous people, books, stories, and general references.

Note: We will also provide training on how to do audio engineering, edit videos, create text overlays, etc - you just need to have the passion.

Expected Expertise:
- Fast and reliable internet and computer
- Experienced and capable to work with Premier Pro and After Effects
- Strong storytelling abilities and an eye for visual composition
- Working Full Time Australia business hours (Monday to Friday)
- Acceptable level of spoken and written English (to use slack)
- Proven solid work experience of 2+ years
