Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly creative and organized Video Editor and Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, content creation, and social media management. This role requires someone who is passionate about crafting engaging videos and creating a compelling social media presence across multiple platforms. The Video Editor & Social Media Manager will be responsible for producing high-quality video content and managing our social media channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
- Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish.
- Ensure videos are in line with brand guidelines and optimize content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Add graphics, effects, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of video content.
- Manage video assets and organize files in a systematic manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to keep content fresh and innovative.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute a social media content calendar to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence.
- Create and schedule posts across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using analytics tools to assess engagement and growth metrics.
- Respond to audience inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to digital properties.
- Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with overall marketing strategies.
- Provide creative input and suggest new content ideas for video and social media channels.
- Collaborate with influencers, partners, and external teams to create promotional content and campaigns.
- Report on video performance and social media KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing (portfolio or reel required).
- Strong knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Experience managing social media platforms and content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
