Pave Talent hiring on behalf of our client - a dynamic digital agency specializing in custom WordPress solutions. We're seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join their innovative team in a part-time capacity, focusing on both maintenance and new development projects.
About the Client: Our client is an established digital agency that partners with businesses across various industries to deliver exceptional web experiences. With a growing portfolio of clients, they maintain high standards of quality and innovation in website development and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the maintenance and optimization of existing WordPress websites, ensuring peak performance, security, and functionality while implementing best practices for speed and user experience
Design and develop new WordPress websites using modern themes and builders like Divi and Elementor, creating custom solutions that align with client objectives
Manage e-commerce integrations through WooCommerce, implementing and maintaining payment gateways such as Stripe to ensure smooth transactions
Execute technical SEO improvements across client websites, optimizing site speed and functionality while maintaining security best practices

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with WordPress development, particularly in troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues
Demonstrated proficiency with Divi and Elementor page builders
Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations
Understanding of technical SEO principles and website optimization techniques
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining clear team communication

What to Expect:
No fixed daily schedule; tasks are assigned as needed. Work hours between 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM PST
Project-based, hourly billing
Task notifications via email and project management tools—Some tasks are assigned in advance, while others (especially troubleshooting website errors) may be urgent and require same-day attention.
Expected availability during agreed-upon hours—While you don’t need to stay online all the time, you should be reachable for urgent tasks.
