Now Hiring: Virtual Assistant – Short-Form Video Editor (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Part-Time | Remote | $5–$10/hr (based on experience)

Think real estate meets day-in-the-life meets “wow, I actually watched that whole video.” That’s where you come in.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Editing short-form videos (30–60 seconds) from long-form clips or raw talking-head footage
• Adding captions, sound effects, background music, transitions, and engaging visuals
• Creating platform-optimized edits for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Keeping up with viral trends, editing styles, and social media best practices
• Delivering final videos within 48 hours of receiving raw content
• Occasionally repurposing video content for multiple platforms
• Collaborating on creative direction to improve storytelling and engagement

?

You’re a Great Fit If You:
• Have at least 1 year of experience editing short-form content
• Know how to craft an engaging hook within the first 3 seconds
• Can make videos pop visually while keeping the message clear and on-brand
• Are comfortable using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Have a strong eye for detail (you catch typos in captions, awkward cuts, bad lighting, etc.)
• Work fast and are reliable with deadlines
• Communicate well and enjoy creative collaboration
• Are familiar with content in the real estate, lifestyle, or personal branding space (a plus!)

• Create simple, scroll-stopping thumbnails
• Do light motion graphics or text animation
• Understand storytelling and emotional pacing
• Suggest edits that enhance content flow and viewer retention
