Job Title: Bookkeeper for eCommerce Business
Job Type: Part-time, Remote
Compensation: $100/month for ongoing bookkeeping, with additional compensation for completing 2024 federal and state taxes
About the Business:
We operate a multi-channel eCommerce business selling on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, along with managing a YouTube channel. Our bookkeeping is set up in QuickBooks, but we haven’t had a consistent bookkeeper. We’re looking for a long-term professional to maintain our financial records at least once a month and help with tax preparation.
Responsibilities:
• Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks for Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and YouTube revenue streams
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
• Generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy in expense tracking, sales tax, and other financial details
• Prepare and organize financial records for 2024 federal and state tax filing
• Provide recommendations for better financial organization and reporting
Requirements:
• Proven experience in bookkeeping for eCommerce businesses (Amazon, eBay, Walmart preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Understanding of eCommerce transactions, fees, and payment processors
