JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Assistant to support lead generation efforts for paid speaking engagements. The ideal candidate will research and identify high-quality speaking opportunities, manage outreach efforts, and maintain a structured database of leads. This role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to secure only paid speaking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify paid speaking engagements in key areas including AI, peacebuilding, cultural intelligence, education leadership, innovation, faith and spirituality.

Develop and maintain a lead generation database with relevant details, including event dates, contact information, audience demographics, and proposal deadlines.

Conduct outreach to event organizers, conference committees, and decision-makers via email and LinkedIn to explore opportunities.

Track and follow up on inquiries, proposal submissions, and correspondence with event organizers.

Identify paid opportunities and organizations that align with business growth objectives.

Maintain an organized system for tracking responses, deadlines, and engagement history.

Support administrative tasks related to event planning and logistics as needed.

U.S.-based events prioritized, with selective consideration of global opportunities that meet compensation criteria.

Event Scale & Credibility:


Industry-recognized conferences with strong media or networking value.

Speaking Format & Compensation:

All engagements must be paid. No unpaid or "exposure" opportunities will be considered.

Acceptable speaking roles: Keynote Speaker, Panelist, Workshop Leader, Moderator.

Must confirm speaking fee upfront or ensure event provides direct honorarium, sponsorship, or travel stipends.

Lead Contact & Decision-Makers:

Direct outreach to conference organizers, event planners, speaker coordinators, and program directors to verify compensation details.

Proposal Deadlines & Application Process:

Track CFP (Call for Proposals) deadlines and submission guidelines.

Ensure all applications specify fee expectations before submission.

Ideal Candidate:
Strong research and data management skills.

Excellent written communication for outreach and follow-ups.

Comfortable cold emailing and networking with event organizers.
