Job Title: Medical Scribe - Medical Front Desk Admin Manager [M-ACLC-M]
Position Type: Full Time (40 hours / week)
Work Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (PST)
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: $5 - $6 per hour (depending on experience)


About the Company
We are a holistic primary care clinic providing compassionate, high-quality care to men, women, and children in Southern Oregon.
We’re seeking a remote Medical Scribe & Front Desk Admin Manager with strong medical live scribing experience—someone who can support the provider directly and help build efficient systems behind the scenes.

Scope / Responsibilities
This role is primarily focused on provider support through real-time documentation, clinical admin tasks, and internal system development.

Primary Responsibilities:
1.Act as a medical scribe, documenting patient-provider interactions accurately and efficiently in real time in NextGen EHR
2.Draft clinical notes, update patient charts, and manage follow-up documentation
3.Communicate with patients as needed for follow-ups, test results, or care coordination
4.Support the provider with administrative tasks that ensure smooth daily operations
5.Maintain strict attention to detail and protect patient confidentiality at all times
6.Manage phone calls, inquiries and administrative tasks

Additional Duties:
1.Occasionally assist with insurance verification, manage prior authorizations and assist billing support
2.Handle referrals, client audits, and insurance authorizations
3.Coordinate appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups
4.Maintain and organize documents, reports, spreadsheets, and internal records
5.Build and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the employee handbook
6.Train and support new front desk or admin teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
7.Be present in a virtual video room (Zoom or Google Meet) throughout the shift for real-time support and collaboration

Qualifications
*Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare admin or scribe role
*Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
*Experience with NextGen EHR or similar systems
*Proven ability to draft accurate and detailed documentation in real time
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
*Comfortable working independently while supporting a clinical team virtually
*Proficiency with TEAMs is a plus

Technical & Availability Requirements
*Must remain present in a virtual video room (Zoom or Google Meet) for the entire shift
*Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer
*Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
*Audio: Noise-canceling headset
*Video: Webcam required for virtual meetings and daily presence
*Workspace: Quiet, professional home office
*Availability: Must attend scheduled meetings with the camera on and remain active and responsive throughout shift hours
