Supply Chain Assistant

Our new Supply Chain Assistant will gain a comprehensive understanding of the 360° operations of a young eCommerce business, positioned at the heart of our dynamic and fast-paced company. You will be at the forefront of building a successful eCommerce business, witnessing firsthand the strategies and processes that drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain detailed records of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Update internal systems and records with order details, ensuring real-time accuracy and traceability.
- Maintain accurate supply chain inventory and records, ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate and communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, shipping agents, regulatory bodies to process orders and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Liaise with third-party fulfilment companies (3PL) to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics, guaranteeing that products arrive and depart in optimal condition.
- Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules by analyzing freight and logistics data and historical performance.
- Evaluate shipping operations to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to enhance speed and reliability.
- Monitor stock levels across multiple global regions to anticipate shortages and overstock situations.
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest actionable improvements to optimize supply chain performance.
- Utilize Amazon-specific toolz (e.g., flat files and Seller Central) to manage listings, inventory, and order fulfilment.
- Implement and monitor automated processes to streamline logistics and minimize manual workload.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on suply chain performance, including KPIs and trend analysis.
- Apply technical solutions and leverage AI or automation tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and accuracy, or be keen and willing to learn how to do this


Core Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the supply chain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with an employer that sells on any Amazon Marketplace.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Bizness, or related field.
- Experience managing UK imports and US exports, especially organic food.
- Proven track record collaborating with international vendors (India, China, Europe, UK).
- Skilled in order forecasting and shipping terms (Incoterms).
- Highly organized with a logical, problem-solving mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for spotting data inconsistencies.
- Analytical thinker with technical skills and a strong focus on AI and automation.
- Proficient in Amazon tools (flat files, Seller Central) and data management systems.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; a numbers wizard.
- Familiarity with task management tools (Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Trello).
- Excellent communication skills with exceptional written English.
- Proactive, hands-on, and eager to make initiative in a startup environment.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and driven to make a positive impact.
- Natural problem solver with a “can-do” attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
