Smart Noise is on a mission to help independent artists turn their passion into a living. We’re a lean, bootstrapped startup building marketing automation tools specifically for the music industry—think fan monetization, smarter campaign tools, and creator-focused infrastructure that actually gets the job done.
We’re now hiring a senior full stack dev to help us scale our platform and handle some technical support on the backend.
You’ll work directly with our CTO, support our current team, and help shape the product with real input.
We’re async-first, based across the US and EU, and now opening this position in the Philippines to grow the team cost-effectively while maintaining high quality.
Your Role
• Solve tech support tickets opened by our customer care lead (you won’t talk to customers directly, but you’ll fix the
stuff that matters).
• Own feature development across frontend and backend.
• Build clean, documented APIs for 3rd party integration.
• Help keep the ship stable and moving—platform improvements, bug fixing, small upgrades.
• Be proactive: if you see something broken, we expect you to speak up and fix it.
Our Stack
• Frontend: TypeScript (Angular + Nuxt/Vue)
• Backend: Firebase, Node.js
• Infra: Bitbucket, Google Cloud, some AWS
• Bonus Points: Experience with Meta APIs (FB/IG) and social platform integrations
Must-Haves
• 5–7 years of experience minimum
• Strong experience in both frontend and backend dev
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (Firebase, GCP, AWS)
• Ability to work independently in an async setup
• Solid English communication skills
• Able to manage priorities without micro-management
• Include the word 'pineapple' in your application ;)
Nice-to-Haves
• Passion for music or experience building products in the creator economy
• Experience working in early-stage startups
• Prior exposure to growth-focused tools or marketing automation
What You’ll Get
• Competitive pay, part-time (we value skill, not just cost)
• Stock options on the table if you prove to be the right fit long-term
• A say in how we build things
• The chance to build tools for people who care about their craft
