Medical Biller- Charge Entry

Job Title: Virtual Medical Biller with Charge Entry Experience

Location: Remote (Philippines)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over two years of charge entry experience with U.S.-based companies, particularly in outpatient or office-based settings. Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pulmonology is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies or government programs. ?
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for services. ?
Process claims for reimbursement and ensure timely follow-up on denied or unpaid claims. ?
Verify CPT & ICD 10 coding as well as usage and application of Modifiers
Review of documentation to maintain billing compliance
Apply insurance guidelines, policy and LCD regulations
Maintain a 98% clean claim accuracy rate
Resolve invalid and rejected clearinghouse issues

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years charge entry experience with U.S.-based companies in outpatient or office-based settings.?
Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pulmonology is preferred.?
Knowledge, understanding and ability to properly use Medicare LCD's
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; must be comfortable and confident speaking on the phone.?
Ability to work independently and take initiative.?
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.?
Proficiency in basic email and Excel tasks (sending emails, creating spreadsheets, etc.).?
Experience with Practice Management systems such as Tebra/Kareo, Practice Suite, Practice Fusion, Micro MD, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD is preferred.?
Technical Requirements:

Reliable at-home work setup, including a computer with up-to-date software and hardware (dual screens are necessary).?
High-speed internet connection.?
Headset for clear communication.?
Dual Monitors are required
