Senior Accountant (LP & Public Trading)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with extensive accounting experience and proficiency in various software systems. The ideal candidate will be able to handle complex accounting tasks, manage invoices, and ensure efficient AP processing for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Tasks with LPs (Limited Partners):
Handle complex accounting and reporting duties related to Limited Partners.
Public Trading Companies: Work with accounting for public trading companies, ensuring the integration of various software logins and platforms.

QuickBooks for Smaller Internal Companies:
Manage accounting tasks using QuickBooks for smaller internal businesses.

Yardi System & Payscan Experience:
Utilize the Yardi system for managing financial data and ensure proficiency in Payscan for document processing (Payscan experience is a MUST).

QuickBooks Enterprise:
Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage larger, more complex internal company accounts and transactions.

Complex Accounting Experience:
Apply advanced accounting principles to handle complex accounting processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

Invoice Management & AP Encoding:
Oversee the management of invoices, including encoding for accounts payable (AP), ensuring accurate and timely processing.

Critical Thinking with Process Improvement:
Apply critical thinking to improve and streamline accounting processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on LPs, public trading companies, and small-to-medium enterprises.
Payscan experience is required.
Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks for smaller companies.
Experience using the Yardi system for financial management and operations.
Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and invoicing processes, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage complex accounting tasks and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
CPA or other accounting certification (preferred but not required).
