We are looking for a talented and creative video editor to join our team and help produce high-quality short-form content designed to get views on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be provided with a script, and your job will be to bring the content to life with compelling visuals, background music, and dynamic subtitles.
The editing style needs to be modern, engaging, and optimized for social media to capture attention quickly. Our primary goal is to produce content that not only looks great but also performs well in terms of views, engagement, and shareability.
Responsibilities:
• Edit short-form videos (30 sec to 1 min) for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add relevant visuals (stock footage, animations, text overlays, etc.) that align with the voiceover and script.
• Incorporate engaging background music that enhances the tone of the video.
• Include dynamic and perfectly synced subtitles.
• Ensure the videos are engaging from the first second and capture the audience’s attention.
• Optimize videos for mobile viewing (vertical format) with proper pacing and transitions.
• Deliver videos on time and maintain consistent communication during the editing process.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in video editing for short-form content, ideally for social media platforms.
• Strong portfolio of video editing work, with examples of high-engagement videos.
• Ability to follow a brief and script while adding creative flair to make the videos more compelling.
• Experience with adding dynamic subtitles, text overlays, and using visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Familiarity with trending video styles and editing techniques that boost social media engagement.
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality edits quickly.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Familiarity with social media algorithms and optimization techniques for maximum reach and engagement.
• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
