Local SEO & Content Writer

We are a well-established, growing web design agency that helps local businesses increase their online visibility. We’re looking for a Local SEO & Content Writer to join our team and play a key role in helping our clients rank higher in local search results.

This role is perfect for someone who understands the ins and outs of Local SEO and can create compelling, optimised content that drives results.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Writing high-quality, SEO-optimised content for websites, blogs, Google Business Profiles (GBP), and service pages.
Conducting Local SEO keyword research to find the best terms for ranking in a client’s target location.
Optimising Google Business Profile (GBP) listings and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across local directories.
Creating location-specific content and landing pages to improve local rankings.
Analysing competitors' SEO strategies and identifying opportunities for our clients to outrank them.
Tracking and reporting on SEO performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Staying updated on Google’s algorithm changes, Local SEO trends, and best practices.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Local SEO and content writing, with examples of content that ranks well.
- Strong understanding of Google Business Profile (GBP) and local ranking factors (e.g., citations, reviews, on-page SEO, schema markup).
- Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or BrightLocal.
- Ability to write engaging, informative, and well-structured content that resonates with both search engines and readers.
- Excellent research skills to understand different industries and create relevant, high-quality content.
-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
-Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience with schema markup for local businesses.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Divi, Elementor, or other website builders.
- Knowledge of local link-building strategies and outreach.
