SENIOR VIDEO EDITOR Needed!

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor who is not afraid to take on new challenges, and is
ready to grow with our team.

First and foremost, you’ll be helping us create videos for the following projects:
1) Our Client's video content for business development (High-Quality Retention Editing)
2) Our personal videos for our YouTube channel (Minimalist Editing)
3) Our passion project which is a YouTube Kids Show (High Quality Retention Editing)

This role requires someone who is equally happy working autonomously, powering through
edits AND joining in on team discussions. If you’re a collaborative person who loves the sound of
brainstorming, throwing around new ideas and is constantly looking for new ways to improve, we
want to hear from you!

LET'S TALK SKILLS:
If you’re our ideal person, you’re:
• Very Experienced in Video Editing talking head videos (professional background is nice, but experienced hobbyist is
great too!)
• Proficient with at least one of: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
• Gifted with excellent communication skills
• Known for your irrationally high attention to detail
• Possessing some kick-ass critical thinking & problem solving skills --- especially in making the editing process more sustainable
• Self-organised, accountable, and work well under pressure
• Adaptable, learning new systems and processes quickly
• Keen to be a part of a team, we’re looking for someone who is keen to be a part of teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings
and confident to share their ideas in brainstorming sessions
• Did we mention detail-oriented? To demonstrate that awesome attention to detail of yours, put
“I’m your new Video Editor!” in the subject of your application
• BONUS POINTS for Motion Graphics experience too (Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion) + use of templated assets such as Envato marketplace.

As this is a remote position where we will be transferring large files back and forth, fast & reliable
internet is a must.
