The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and a curiosity about content trends, audience psychology, and the real estate industry—plus a willingness to dive deep into learning its nuances.
Responsibilities:
Edit compelling YouTube videos that align with client goals and brand identity.
Create engaging short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
Enhance weekly video updates for
Repurpose long-form video content into bite-sized clips or highlight reels.
Possibly edit social media ads or promotional teasers.
Reflect the client’s voice and brand through visual storytelling.
Requirements:
Edit captivating video content for YouTube, short-form platforms, and ads tailored to clients in the real estate industry.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to produce visually stunning content that aligns with the client’s goals and brand identity.
Review clients’ past content and industry trends to understand their visual style, tone, and target audience.
Tailor edits to reflect the client’s preferences, feedback, and brand consistency across all platforms.
Ensure videos are polished with clean cuts, proper pacing, sound design, and accurate color grading.
Stay current with digital marketing, video editing trends, and real estate industry visuals, incorporating best practices and fresh ideas.
Exceptional editing skills with proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment.
Results:
Build (and maintain) a 2-3 week buffer on client video edits.
Deliver YouTube edits with a 30-50%+ viewer retention rate.
Ensure newsletter or promo video content maintains a high engagement rate (e.g., 30-35% retention).
Produce unique, high-quality edits that are error-free, match client branding, and resonate with their audience.
Achieve a high client satisfaction score based on delivered video content.
Salary & Growth Opportunities:
Video editing begins around $8-10 USD per hour and can grow with experience and results.
You’ll work with our marketing team and expand your role as you grow with us.
You’ll take on increasing responsibilities as you gain expertise.
Performance is graded based on client results and feedback.
Once you’re managing a full slate (tracked via our dashboard based on client bandwidth), you can be promoted to a full-time Video Editor role.
Growth opportunities: Editors who take on additional accounts beyond a full slate have strong potential for advancement. We actively promote from within—successful editors are in line for roles on our core creative strategy team. Mastering video editing opens doors to countless opportunities.
