- Reaching link quota for all clients each month.
- Internal workflow of all link building, quality of work and deadlines
- Team management, SOPs, timesheets and budgets

The ideal candidate should prioritize management and accountability over technical expertise, ensuring that the link-building team is disciplined, high-performing, and goal-oriented.
This role is best suited for someone who is outspoken, tough, and strict, with the ability to enforce policies, track performance through KPIs, and create a culture of accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Ensure link building quota is always met for all clients;
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of link builders, outreach assistants, and content marketers;
- Implement performance monitoring systems to track individual and team KPIs;
- Establish and enforce clear expectations, deadlines, and quality standards;
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching where necessary;
- Oversee recruitment and training of new hires.
Link Building & Outreach Strategy
- Oversee the execution of all link-building campaigns;
- Ensure proper outreach, guest posting, and link acquisition techniques are followed;
- Work closely with SEO and content teams to align strategies for maximum impact;
- Oversee Pitchbox data, reporting, and milestone tracking.
Accountability & Process Optimization
- Maintain a high-performance culture by setting clear productivity goals;
- Identify opportunities to improve both employee and client satisfaction;
- Identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven process improvements through written SOPs;
- Establish quality control measures to ensure compliance with best practices;
- Serve as an escalation point for any link building concerns from SEO Project Managers and Clients.
Data & Metrics-Driven Management
- Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics for the team;
- Analyze data and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of link-building efforts;
- Provide updates and internal reports to the CEO and Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven management experience (2+ years in a leadership role)
- Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and link-building strategies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accountability
- Ability to set, track, and analyze KPIs and performance metrics
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Familiarity with link-building tools such as Ahrefs and Pitchbox (preferred but not required)
