POSITION SUMMARY
- Organic Reflection needs an experienced Digital Content Editor to create high-quality digital content that elevates our online brand awareness, drives website traffic, and increases sales.
- We will provide you with the raw digital assets. You will edit these digital assets to create digital content, such as editing long-form podcast content and then creating corresponding short-form social media content. Your editing should focus on audience engagement and storytelling, including effective hooks at the start of short-form social media content. We currently use these digital marketing channels: Instagram, TikTok,
- Your main aim is to edit our digital media assets to create high-quality digital content that is optimised for each digital marketing channel. Your edits and created content should increase our online brand awareness and sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit digital content to a high quality and professional standard.
- Create content that highlights key product benefits, positive customer feedback, relevant health and wellness information, and exciting business developments.
- Remain updated on social media trends and algorithmic best practices to maximise social media post engagement.
- Continuously recommend improvements to social media strategy to maximise online brand awareness and sales.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the health and wellness industry.
- Experience editing long-form videos (podcasts) and short-form videos.
- Training in digital media editing, social media content creation, and social media advertising (desirable).
- University degree in video editing, digital marketing, or communications (desirable).
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Ability to edit and ideate both long and short form digital content.
- Understanding relevant trends and best practices in digital content creation and social media advertising.
- English language proficiency (oral and written).
- Ability to work effectively in remote environment across different time zones.
- General intelligence, common sense and commercial awareness.
